For Parents with Children Ages 3 to 12 Years Old

Welcome to our group therapy program aimed at supporting parents in managing childhood anxiety. We use an approach called Supporting Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), which is proven to be as effective as one-on-one cognitive behavioral therapy. Throughout this program, you’ll gain valuable insights into understanding anxiety in children and learn practical strategies to help your child build self-confidence and resilience.

What to Expect:

Throughout the program, you’ll engage in eight informative and interactive sessions designed to empower you as a parent. In the first session, we’ll explore what anxiety is and discuss the strategies you’ve tried to help your child thus far. Subsequent sessions will delve deeper into topics such as how to support your anxious child, common parent traps related to childhood anxiety, and targeting specific areas to increase your child’s coping skills. Towards the end of the program, we’ll focus on tracking progress, troubleshooting challenges, and planning for long-term success. Each session will provide valuable insights and practical tools to help you effectively support your child’s journey towards managing anxiety.
