Dr. Zia Lakdawalla and Dr. Michele Locke are thrilled to present this 5 week clinician training course tailored for professionals eager to enhance their clinical toolkit and specialize in working with caregivers and parents.
This comprehensive course spans 10 hours over five weeks, delving into essential theories such as attachment, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Participants will master crucial aspects of parenting interventions, including assessment, formulation, and goal-setting, as well as honing skills and strategies for effective sessions with parents. The training promises an interactive learning experience, featuring live examples, role plays, and ample opportunities for hands-on practice.
This training is ideal for individuals holding a degree in psychology or social work, or those affiliated with the College of Psychotherapists. Child and adult therapists would benefit from this training. Students currently training in these fields are also welcome to enroll.
