Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to common questions parents ask about this service—so you can feel more confident about what to expect.
How is this different from a typical parenting class?
This group goes beyond surface-level tips. It combines evidence-based theory, parent-to-parent connection, and therapeutic support so you can feel more confident and capable in emotionally intense moments.
What if I miss a session?
We understand that life happens. While consistent attendance is encouraged for the best experience, we’ll provide key resources to help you catch up if you need to miss a session.
Is my child involved in the sessions?
No, this program is designed specifically for parents. By working with you, we help shift the parent-child dynamic in ways that promote emotional growth and security.
Do I need to be experiencing a crisis to join?
Not at all. Many parents join this group because they want to feel more prepared, grounded, and connected—not because something is “wrong.” Prevention and support can be just as powerful as intervention.
What if I’m already working with a therapist?
This group can be a wonderful complement to individual therapy. It offers added parenting-specific tools, emotional validation, and the community connection that one-on-one work may not always provide.
