Registered Social Worker

Many children and adolescents today face challenges such as anxiety, depression, and difficulties in social interactions. These issues can stem from various factors, including academic pressure, family dynamics, and the impact of social media. As a result, young people may struggle with self-esteem, emotional regulation, and forming healthy relationships.

As a registered social worker specializing in child and adolescent therapy, I create a safe and nurturing space for young clients to express themselves. Using various evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), I engage with children and teens in ways that resonate with their developmental stage. I work collaboratively with families to support communication and understanding at home.
Through our work together, many children and adolescents report increased confidence, improved emotional regulation, and enhanced social skills. Parents often observe positive changes in behaviour and communication at home. My goal is to empower young clients to navigate their challenges and build a strong foundation for a healthier, happier future.

Jaydon is a Registered Social Worker and a University of Windsor graduate with a Master’s degree in Social Worker. For over a year, he has worked at Foundations for Emotional Wellness, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, and the many stressors that life has to offer. He also has diverse professional experiences, including roles in several mental health settings such as schools, summer camps, children’s aid societies, and community mental health centers.
